On the occasion of the 73rd birth anniversary of the brave freedom fighter martyred Captain Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, wreaths were placed in the portrait of Sheikh Kamal at the beginning of the day as part of the day-long event. A large number of people of the district, including government offices, political personalities, paid tributes to this pioneer of youth and prayed for the salvation of his soul. A panel discussion on his illustrious career followed.
