Under the leadership of the present Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of Bangabandhu, the economic progress of Bangladesh has now gained recognition as one of the role models in the world system. Not only that, Bangladesh is one of the strongest economies in South Asia today. The Department of National Savings encourages ordinary and low-income people to save. It is possible to ensure the achievement of the welfare and economic goals of the country and the nation by converting the developing ideas related to the savings of the people into investments. The field level office of the National Savings Department is committed to strengthen the hand of marginalized people by encouraging small savings to continue the development trend of the country and raise the growth rate to the desired level.
